1. About the Site

The Site is a curated guide to social events across Westchester, New York City, and Connecticut. Listings reflect the editorial judgment of Ryan and are provided for informational purposes only.

Most events listed on the Site are produced by independent organizations with no formal connection to the Site or its operator. A small number of events are produced by Ryan or by individuals associated with the Site in their personal capacity, separately from their work on the Site; coverage of those events follows the same editorial standards as all others. The Site is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or speaking on behalf of any event, host organization, venue, or other entity mentioned. To attend, register, or purchase tickets, you must follow the outbound link to the relevant event page and complete any transaction with the organizer or ticketing platform listed there.

2. Eligibility

Some events listed on the Site may have age, dress-code, or attendance requirements set by the event organizer. You are responsible for confirming that you meet any such requirements before purchasing tickets or attending. Where you sign up for our newsletter, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Affiliate disclosure

Many event links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission from the destination site at no additional cost to you. Affiliate participation does not influence which events we feature; we only list events we would actually attend ourselves. This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

Outbound clicks on event links are routed through our redirect URL so that we can log aggregate interest and reconcile affiliate-commission reports. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is logged.

4. Event information accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of event details — dates, times, locations, pricing, dress codes, and attendance requirements — at the time of publication. However, event information is supplied or referenced from third-party organizers and is subject to change. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listed event. Before purchasing tickets or making travel plans, you should confirm details directly with the event organizer.

Cancellations, postponements, sellouts, weather closures, refund policies, and attendee disputes are matters between you and the event organizer or ticketing platform. We are not a party to any ticket purchase or event-attendance contract.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you a weekly email featuring upcoming events Ryan recommends. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We do not sell or rent your email address to third parties. Use of the newsletter is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Scrape, copy, or systematically reproduce event listings, descriptions, or imagery for republication, commercial use, or training of automated or machine-learning systems without our written permission
• Submit fraudulent newsletter signups or automated requests intended to inflate click counts or affiliate-attribution metrics
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site at a rate or volume that interferes with normal operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or those of our partners
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is publicly visible in the browser
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices on the Site
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Site or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
• Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to block access from any IP address, network, or user agent engaged in the above conduct.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, original editorial text, photography credits, layout, logos, and code, is owned by Play Nice Together, Inc. and protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. You may share links to individual event pages on social media or in private correspondence. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any portion of the Site without our written permission.

Event titles, descriptions submitted by organizers, venue names, and event photography may be owned by their respective rights holders and are used here under fair use, with permission, or as descriptive editorial commentary. If you are an event organizer or rights holder and believe your material has been used incorrectly, contact us at the address in Section 14.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We make no warranty that event information will be accurate, complete, or current; that tickets or events linked from the Site will be available or fairly priced; or that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Play Nice Together, Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or any event referenced on the Site.

This includes, without limitation, damages for:

• Inaccurate event information, including dates, times, locations, pricing, or attendance requirements
• Event cancellations, postponements, sellouts, weather closures, or refund disputes
• Actions or omissions of event organizers, venues, or ticketing platforms
• Loss of money, time, or opportunity related to a ticket purchase or travel arrangement
• Any injury, loss, or damage occurring at an event

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Play Nice Together, Inc., its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you also agree to that policy.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
